i've been watching a lot of video essays on ghibli lately (and also lots of making ofs of the tiniest dioramas ever but I Disgress) and honestly i love that studio so much. they are very... impressionist on their animation and i!!!!!!!!! just adore them 

their worlds are just so authentic !!!!!!!!!!!

those worlds really make me wanna write

but there u go: this and this from big joel, one of my fave video essayist atm, this (5 minutes long !), this and this (and consequently also The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness (dir. Mami Sunada, 2013) ), this (more technical kinda, 6 minutes long !)
